Acrison feeders are probably the most accurate on the market, with our high speed sampling system and pure un-amplified 20 bit scale resolution.
Most vibratory volumetric feeders have, at best, an accuracy of around ±10% on a 0.1 second sample interval, but we have a substantiated accuracy typically in the range between ± 0.25 to 1% feed rate error (the coefficient of variation) at two sigma, based on a given number of consecutive samples.
Consider this example: If the feed rate = 400kg/hour, 7 hours a day, 5 days per week and 50 weeks per year, annual consumption = 700,000 kgs.
If SAP material cost = 1.5 Euro per kilo, then just a 1% performance improvement will save 10,500 Euro per annum in material waste reduction.
